Description

Coming soon to Bringatrailer Auctions Ciao bella. Ferraris are among the most coveted automobiles ever manufactured. They are the material embodiment of beauty, passion, speed and excellence. Just looking at one is enough to quicken your pulse. Driving one gives you first hand knowledge of what it is like to become part of a machine. Owning one is an altogether different experience that gives you complete access to that essence that is, Ferrari. There is a perception that people who own these cars do so to exhibit wealth and prestige. It is true, that it takes significant financial resources to acquire a Ferrari, but the idea that it is merely a status symbol is usually held by those who can only dream of owning one. Let this be your wake up call. The Ferrari 328 may be the best all around model the factory at Maranello, Italy ever produced. Void of intrusive electronics it offers a wholly analog driving experience that touches all the senses, connecting driver to road like few cars ever have or ever will. You don't just drive them, you dance with them. This 1989 Ferrari 328 GTS was last registered in 2014, falling into disuse and languishing under cover in a garage until the summer of 2020 upon which it was commissioned for a full service including a timing belt kit and complete engine reseal. The car was thoroughly gone through to the tune of nearly $10,000. It is now completely roadworthy and in excellent running condition. There is a misconception that these are unreliable and frighteningly expensive cars to maintain. The truth is, so long as they are driven regularly with proper oil and lubrication the probability of facing $10,000 repairs is extremely low. Its when they are left to sit dormant that issues arise when a neglectful owner decides to go for a two mile drive once or twice a year. Sounds crazy but this is the fate of far too many of these cars. Drive your Ferrari and it will reward you, ignore it and it will cost you. This rare black on black example indicates 26k miles, has a clean car fax and recent major service receipts. Cosmetically, it has very few flaws. Most everything is in good working order, although the AC has not been charged and the radio is inoperative. Located in Rockwall, Texas this Ferrari is offered as is where is. Texas residents may be subject to sales tax and registration fees. Trades considered for interesting cars only; no boats, bikes, planes or real estate please. Dreamers, low ballers, scammers and sales assistants need not apply. Call text or reply.
